DON'T STOP - 2018 LiveStage

Original Composition - C.McVie

RFM CONCERTS -  'DON'T STOP'

Don't Stop was written during the recording of the Rumours album in 1976 around the time that John and Christine McVie were breaking up. It was one of the classic breaking up songs from an album that also included Dreams and Go Your Own Way, Stevie Nicks' and LindseyBuckingham's messages to one another.  Christine knew the best way she could communicate with John was through music, so she wrote the song as a message to him.

EVERYWHERE - 2018 LiveStage

Lead Vocals: Emily Gervers (RFM Concerts)

Original Composition - C.McVie

RFM CONCERTS - EVERYWHERE

Everywhere, the fourth single from Tango in the Night, is definitely one of Fleetwood Mac's signature tunes. Its strong, melodious harmonies make the song both unique and uplifting. It's one of Christine's best loved songs. A song about falling in love and wanting desperately to be all around that one special person. Written for the man in her life at the time Eddie Quintela. She's fallen head over heels for him and wants to simply be with him everywhere.

TUSK - 2018 LiveStage

Vocals: Full Band

Original Composition - Lindsey Buckingham

And so begins the most experimental track (and also the first single) from Fleetwood Mac’s double album. Tusk employs Burgundian-European chanting, a marching band, polyrhythms, countermelody, and a Ghanaian drum beat to form a rock version of a tribal march, straight from the pen and psyche of Lindsey Buckingham. Many feel that Tusk personified the extreme U-turn Fleetwood Mac took to avoid matching the formula that made Rumours achieve phenomenal record sales.

Lyrically, Lindsey Buckingham follows a consistent pattern—he writes simply but ambiguously. Lindsey usually writes as if he is talking to another person, not to a general audience... Why don’t you ask him if he’s going to stay? Why don’t you ask him if he’s going away?

THE CHAIN - 2018 LiveStage

Lead Vocals: Jessica Harwood (RFM Concerts)

Original Composition - S.Nicks

RFM CONCERTS - THE CHAIN

With lyrics from Stevie Nicks and music from the rest of the band, The Chain has become the anthem of Fleetwood Mac. The Chain is the never ending tie that bound the band together in the past and binds them together now and, hopefully, well into the future. Undoubtedly this song speaks volumes about bitter feelings, a wavering relationship, and the need to keep the links in the chain together. Did Stevie write The Chain as a way to vent her frustration and anger over her shattered relationship with Lindsey Buckingham, or is it a statement about the fragile links between the five members of Fleetwood Mac...

MAKE LOVING FUN - 2018 LiveStage

Lead Vocals: Emily Gervers (RFM Concerts)

Original Composition - C.McVie

RFM CONCERTS - MAKE LOVING FUN

You Make Loving Fun, the fourth single from Rumours, is definitely one of the songs that made Fleetwood Mac who they are today. Its funky keyboards and outstanding harmonies make the song unique and a favorite of many Fleetwood mac fans. In one of the few optimistic songs on Rumours, Christine tells us of her love affair of Fleetwood Mac's then lighting director, Curry Grant. While going through a rough break-up at the time with John McVie, Curry gave her something special; he made her feel valued and, of course, loved. "Sweet, wonderful you, you make me happy with the things you do",

DREAMS - 2018 LiveStage

Lead Vocals: Jessica Harwood (RFM Concerts)

Original Composition - S.Nicks

RFM CONCERTS - DREAMS

"Dreams" was Fleetwood Mac's only number one hit. Stevie's poetic lyrics are beautifully arranged to make this song a true gem in Fleetwood Mac's song writing history and is forever a memory of the reality of our own dreams."Dreams" is the painful story of love gone astray and is probably one of most poignant love songs ever written. It was created during the tumultuous recording sessions of the album, Rumours. There was a time during these sessions when there wasn't much for Stevie to do in the studio, so she found her way to a room in the back corners of the studio and wrote the lyrics to "Dreams."

SARA - 2018 LiveStage

Lead Vocals: Jessica Harwood (RFM Concerts)

Original Composition - S.Nicks

RFM CONCERTS - SARA

Many of Stevie’s lyrics could be about many people, even those who don’t stake a claim. Here, she calls to a particular person, a person she is very close to. That person could very well be Lindsey Buckingham, who promised devotion and happiness for many years. Though the years were hard, her years with Lindsey, at least at the start, were basked in a joyful love, one that shined and gave off this promised light of happiness. Opening lyrics.. "Drowning in the sea of love..Where everyone would love to drown"
